Project Details...
BRENT CROSS CRICKLEWOOD ---------------------------------------- This is an ongoing series looking at the Brent Cross Cricklewood Regeneration area in North West London. It is set to be one of the biggest regeneration projects in the UK, costing around £4.5 billion. I will be photographing the area as it is now and as changes begin to take place.

Brent Cross Shopping Centre and North Circular Road (A406). Under current plans, the shopping centre will be doubled in size and a number of new bridges will be built across the busy North Circular road. Opponents to the scheme argue that the A406 will become grid locked with the increase in traffic, and that substantial investments in new public transport infrastructure is needed.

The route of the Brent River, which currently runs alongside the Brent Cross centre site, is due to be relocated even closer to the noisy North Circular Road.
